Position Summary
The Workshop Technician Electrical role focuses on electronic and mechatronic repair, modification, and testing of controls, actuators, and throttle valves in a high-tech workshop environment. Based in Hoofddorp, this position occasionally involves supporting switch cabinet assembly (not full-time). Perfect for analytical technicians who enjoy component-level troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Test analog/digital controls and all-electric actuators per specifications and protocols
- Diagnose and repair faults down to component level (PCBs, transistors, ICs)
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, testing, calibration, and coating
- Prepare material lists, repair reports, and test documentation
- Occasionally assist with switch cabinet building and testing
- Calibrate test equipment and provide technical support
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards

Candidate Profile
- MBO4+ in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
- Knowledge of electronics, schematics, soldering, and test equipment
- Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn
- Good English (Dutch advantageous)
- VCA-Basic certification (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Dutch/EU work authorization
