Technical Customer Service Specialist? What’s that?

In general terms, as a Technical Customer Service Specialist you will manage and control processes related to after-sales support of consumer or professional products. The goal is to achieve customer (end-user) satisfaction through providing effective technical support to customers and business partners. This is underpinned by compliance with the applicable legal requirements and company policies.

Key Activities include

  • Ensuring that all returned products are dealt with effectively per the applicable documented service manuals and standard operating procedures, either directly or via a third-party service provider.
  • Handling all administration related to our returns process and spare parts management.
  • Providing technical Training and Support on products and services to Business Partners, employees, and 3rd parties service providers.
  • Delivering technical analysis of returned goods and share CAPA(s) to ensure that the after-sales service is continuously improved.
  • Supporting Order to Cash, Consumer Care, and our outsourced Customer Support team regarding technical questions.
  • Post-marketing trending analysis support, and reporting of Quality issues and Customer complaints to the QA department.
  • Managing calibration systems (PA360) and tools and ensure all administration is handled effectively.
  • Preparing monthly warranty claim reports and submit them to the Quality Assurance department for review, analysis, and processing.
  • Representing the Technical Customer Service (TCS) team in the absence of and delegated by the TCS lead in projects and new business initiatives.
  • Your Skills and Experience

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a technician (with medical devices a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management systems ISO9001 and ISO 13485
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Passion to learn, experience, and grow professionally within an international organization.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with other European languages being a welcomed plus
  • Offer:

  • Salary range between 45000€ – 50000€ per year based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience and including holiday allowance
  • 1-year contract role with the possibility of extension based on performance and business growth
  • Hybrid work model, 3 days from home, 2 at the office
  • Annual performance bonus up to 6.75% of yearly salary
  • 28 days holiday per year with the possibility to earn an additional 4 days.
