Our client is a leader in its field. With revenues of several billion Euros and operations on all continents they play a leading role in their field. To further strengthen the Finance team they are seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Controller to be based in their HQ in Hoofddorp (close to Amsterdam). The ideal candidate has solid technical skills (consolidation) and will report to the Reporting Manager. Fluent English is a must, knowledge of Spanish and/or Dutch is a plus. Relocation and/or sponsorship is not available
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly reporting and consolidation process
- Actively involved in maintaining and improve reporting and consolidation processes and systems
- Support (international) finance teams in complex accounting matters
- Integrate newly acquired businesses within thereporting structure
- Support annual audit process
- Actively involved in (ad-hoc) projects
Profile
- Educated to a University degree in Finance or Accounting
- Several years relevant experience in a (technical) finance role
- Technically very solid (IFRS, consolidation, etc.)
- IT savvy, good understanding of ERP and consolidation tools, Power BI is a plus
- Fluent English is a must, knowledge of Spanish and/or Dutch is a plus
- Pro-active, reliable and strong time management skills
Salary
80/85k base + benefits
