You’ll be working on cutting-edge technology. As well as being fluent in
Scala and a range of tools, you’ll need to be a team player with the DevOps mindset.
Your to-do list will include:
• Building large-scale, mission-critical Scala API services based on Akka HTTP and Http4s
according to modern microservices architecture standards
• Creating modular and scalable code that integrates with our platform as well as external API
endpoints
• Working independently and collaboratively in an agile environment within a cross -functional
team
• Getting stuff done
What we’re looking for
We’re after candidates who offer the following:
• Multiple years’ experience as a Scala developer working on web based applications
• Scala skill (preferably Akka HTTP)
• Solid knowledge of tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka
• Strong experience in RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with CI/CD
• Experience with both relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases (Cassandra)
• Strong communication skills
