Sales Specialist, Captive Lease Europe – BYD Europe – Hoofddorp


As the first overseas subsidiary of BYD group, our main focus is to provide European customers with new energy vehicles, rechargeable batteries, solar panels, energy storage systems and other new energy products, as well as related after-sales services.

About the Department:

The Key Account department is responsible for prospecting and maintaining international and national fleet customers. In addition, collecting market information and supporting country managers and local Key Account team in approaching local fleet customers.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Setting up national campaigns in Europe.
  • Working closely with local captive lease partners in the countries where BYD operates.
  • Collecting and analyzing national developments and advising management based on this analysis.
  • Developing, monitoring, and executing operational tasks (in collaboration with partners and local teams).
  • Analyzing and evaluating national price calculations based on residual value, SMR costs, insurance, and other components.
  • Collaborating with the International Key Account Manager to develop leasing marketing campaigns for each country in Europe.
  • Developing new markets by issuing tenders.
  • Establishing and managing task force teams to oversee targets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring the attainment of final objectives.
  • Facilitating collaboration between internal and external stakeholders

Relevant Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of working experience in the white label/captive lease field in the automotive sector.
  • Excellent ability to translate complex commercial processes into simple workflows and automated processes.
  • Proficient in English language skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills.
  • Structured, process- and problem-solving-oriented.
  • Possess an analytical, curious, and proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and project leadership, capable of handling work pressure.
  • Strong decision-making and presenting skills.
