Summary

The Regional VP of Retail Sales (B2B) will lead, develop, and scale a world-class B2B sales organization throughout the EMEA region. Drive rapid sales growth in the EMEA region by leading, coaching, and directing the company’s direct and channel partner sales teams to grow existing accounts and add new enterprise retail customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead a high-performance sales organization that achieves revenue targets, new product sales goals, and gross margin goals across all product categories.
  2. Create and execute sales and channel strategies to acquire new customers and open new vertical markets, including Telco/Mobile Carriers, Consumer Electronic chains, HBC, DIY, Grocery, Pharmacy, Sporting Goods, and Discount chains.
  3. Create and execute sales and channel strategies to penetrate deeper into current strategic customers, establishing relationships at the highest levels and gaining customer adoption of new products and solutions.
  4. Drive consistent execution and improvement in the achievement of key organization targets, including revenue and margin growth, accurate forecasting, and expansion of customer accounts.
  5. Help facilitate the adoption of InVue’s IoT and software options which add more value to our customers versus hardware security only.
  6. Represent EMEA market’s interest at a global level, providing customer feedback, market trends, competitor activity, and product insights to assist with the development and prioritization of product roadmaps.
  7. Grow and manage the company’s winning sales organization, which includes Strategic Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Inside Business Development Representatives, and the Business Partner network across the EMEA region.
  8. Liaise with product marketing, product development, and regional product managers to ensure that market trends are recognized and the customer voice is heard.
  9. Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly performance objectives for assigned team members.
  10. Develop each team member’s ability to achieve key targets including increased revenue and profits, new product growth, accurate forecasting, and effective problem-solving.
  11. Identify, analyze, and report on competitive threats, competitive pricing, customer concerns, and market dynamics.
  12. Collaborate cross-functionally to support business development, strategy formulation, new product specification, and new opportunity identification.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. Experience selling B2B technology solutions into retail is highly preferred.
  3. Understanding and extensive commercial knowledge of the EMEA region is required.
  4. Existing executive relationships with enterprise retail customers, including Asset Protection, Operations, Merchandising, Store Technology, and Customer Experience.
  5. Experience selling B2B IoT Hardware-Software products or solutions into green field or blue ocean markets.
  6. Strong understanding of, and experience in selling, SaaS software, with the ability to translate complex solutions into business value.
  7. Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing sales teams.
  8. Expertise in negotiating and closing high-value, long sales cycle SaaS deals with C-level executives.
  9. Strong track record of hiring, managing, and leading direct and indirect sales organizations.
  10. Experience managing revenue approximately $25-$75 million USD.
  11. Clear track record of acquiring new customers and bringing new products to market.
  12. Clear examples of hiring and developing sales organizations.
  13. Experience in working with and developing indirect channels.
  14. Developed VP-level and C-level relationships within strategic customers.
  15. Gained adoption of new products within existing customers.
  16. Excellent presentation skills.
  17. Experience in developing a plan and executing growth initiatives for a multi-country region.
  18. Fluent in written and spoken English.
  19. Ability to travel 60%+ with no restrictions on international travel.
