Are you a skilled Naval Architect specializing in stability and strength analysis of offshore ships?

What You Will Do
- Performing hydrostatic, hydrodynamic and structural analyses on FPSOs, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards
- Collaborating closely with engineers and draftsmen from various departments to ensure smooth project execution and integration of naval engineering aspects
- Providing regular report progress, setbacks, and concerns to the Lead Engineer, including clear updates on the status of assigned projects
- Identifying and communicating technical risks, anomalies, and potential improvements to the Section Head, ensuring prompt resolution and mitigation strategies are implemented
- Responsively addressing queries from the Site, Clients, Certifying Authority, and Subcontractors, providing accurate and timely information to maintain effective communication channels and project progress
- Undertaking necessary on-site activities in the shipyard
- Being available for international travel when required, such as visits to shipyards or project locations

What You Already Have
- +4 years of experience within the offshore sector
- BSc. or MSc. in Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or similar
- Experience with hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, finite element and fatigue analysis
- Knowledge of relevant international design codes and Class regulations
- Experience with programming languages like VBA, Matlab or Python
- Effective communication in English, to be able to build strong relationships with suppliers and internally
- You enjoy working in fast-paced & high-tech environments in the O&G industry
