For our client’s renewable project we are currently searching for an MC+ Lead/Engineer . Foreseen duration of this project is long-term (2+ years).
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination : Act as the central point of contact for all MC+ activities. Coordinate with various teams, including procurement, construction, and quality control.
Materials Management : Oversee the entire materials management process, from procurement to delivery and installation. Ensure timely availability of materials for construction activities.
Inventory Control : Implement efficient inventory control practices, minimizing excess stock while maintaining adequate reserves.
Vendor Management : Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, monitor performance, and resolve any issues related to materials supply.
Quality Assurance : Work closely with the QC team to ensure that materials meet specified standards and comply with project requirements.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of material transactions, certifications, and inspections.
Risk Mitigation : Identify potential risks related to materials availability, quality, or cost. Develop mitigation strategies.
Change Management : Handle any changes to materials specifications or quantities during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Education : A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, preferably in refinery or petrochemical projects. Familiarity with MC+ software.
Skills : Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of industry standards.
