What will you do as Marketing & Digital Services Manager?

As Marketing & Digital Services Manager B2B Europe, you will play a prominent role in the (digital) business transition of this B2B player, active in 20 different countries in Europe since 1977. You will have broad responsibility, report directly to the CCO and will be a leader in the commercial strategy to make Container Centralen digitally native in the coming years, also and especially in the field of customer experience. In this way, together with your compact team and your colleagues from sales and operations, you make a direct contribution to Container Centralen’s international customer promise: “To offer a flawless Phygital customer experience”.

This position has a broad horizon. In the short/medium term, the digitalization of current business operations and optimization of the current customer experience are central. Once this way of working has been embraced within the organization and the market, further customer and market growth is a logical next pillar that you will work on together with your team and colleagues.

In this newly created position you will be responsible for:

  • (further) Developing and implementing a successful digital B2B platform strategy, including optimizing the customer platform ‘MyCC’.
  • Developing and implementing relevant Digital services / propositions in line with current tools such as ‘Balance Transfer’ and ‘Balance Monitor’.
  • Onboarding (new) customers, building customer profiles and advanced dashboards and translating these insights into Cross- and Upsell opportunities for the sales team.
  • B2B Marketing Communications and E-Commerce including social media exposure.
  • Directly manage a marketing communications specialist.
  • Optimal cooperation with the MT, Sales and Operations team.
  • We are looking for an experienced professional with

  • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, for example in the direction of (Digital) Marketing Communication.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience within B2B Marketing Communication or Sales, in an international working environment.
  • Management experience (direct or indirect) through leading role on strategic projects.
  • Experience in digital transformation B2B, ideally experienced with cases in which order handling has shifted from manual (by phone, by email) to interactive digital services.
  • Experience in scrum or agile management (e.g. as a product owner or scrum master) is an advantage.
  • Affinity with logistics and/or B2B digital services is an advantage.
  • Strongly developed communication skills in English.
