Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company specializing in delivering integrated freight forwarding, logistics, and technology solutions. The location in Hoofddorp has over 200 employees with 50 different nationalities. They have a flat company structure with a “no nonsense” culture.
Functieomschrijving
Load, transport, and unload goods at designated locations.
Monitor access to the warehouse.
Handle import and export shipments.
Verify shipment quantities and inspect for damage.
Measure and weigh shipments.
Separate different categories of shipments.
Maintain the known status of known shipments.
Manage document flow.
Instruct PMT Cargo Security on which shipments to screen.
Report irregularities.
Maintain and clean the warehouse as needed.
Report quality issues to the supervisor.
Ensure compliance with labor and company regulations.
Develop innovative solutions or new methods to prevent issues or improve operations.
Profiel
Ability to obtain a VGB (Certificate of Good Conduct)
In the possesion of a forklift lisence
Extensive work experience in a similar position
Possession of a category B driving license
Experience at Schiphol is a plus
Experience with the administrative handling of transport (contracts, pick-up and delivery notes, return lists, and trip lists)
Communicatively skilled
Good command English languages
Presentable and customer-friendly

Willingness to work in shifts (no night and weekend shifts)
