Internship (Operations): Global Digital Manufacturing Intern – Danone – Hoofddorp

Short Intro and About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist in managing our knowledge base for the Factory of the Future program. Additionally, the intern will be supporting creation of dashboards using Power BI to help drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge Base Management for Factory of the Future Program:

Assist in the systematic migration of documentation and data related to digital manufacturing software and solutions from one knowledge base system to another

Ensure accuracy and completeness of data during the migration process.

Organize and categorize documents to maintain consistency and ease of access in the new system

Collaborate with team members to understand the structure and requirements of the new knowledge base

Data Visualization:

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into insightful Power BI dashboards

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for various teams

Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all dashboards and reports

Provide support to team members on how to use and interpret the dashboards

About You

We are looking for:

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or Engineering

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, with experience in creating dashboards

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Basic understanding of digital manufacturing solutions/software is a plus

There are also some compulsory requirements:

Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university );

Ideally available to start in 1st of October 2024 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;

You are fluent in English – oral and written;

You are able to work from the Hoofddorp office 2 times per week;

Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

* Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
