We are currently on the lookout for an HR Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be joining an exciting time where things are developing rapidly, offering you the opportunity to shape key HR processes, contribute to strategic initiatives, and make a significant impact on our organisation. You will be involved in all-things recruitment and HR operations related, leveraging your knowledge in human resource practices, developing your skills further, and contributing meaningfully to the success of our department. Preferably, you have experience supporting HR operations in the EMEA region. The ideal start date for this role will be ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
Your role sits within the Operations team, and you will work closely with the HR manager and 1 HR intern. As a key member of our team, you will cover the following areas:
- Participating in designing and implementing the overall recruitment strategy for HAI to attract, select, and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives and organisational culture
- Monitoring and applying HR recruiting best practices, providing analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Building good working relationships with headhunters and finalizing new cooperation agreements
- Taking full management of the recruitment process, liaising with hiring managers to schedule interviews and collect feedback, and defining efficient hiring practices to align on recruitment initiatives and goals
- Managing and maintaining our EMEA Recruitment SOP
- Taking charge of the entire employee life-cycle, including onboarding and offboarding, contract management, and supporting our employees with processing visa applications, A1 forms, and other relevant documentations
- Maintaining our current HRIS system, Personio, to further develop and embed its functionalities in line with our organisational structure and goals
Who are we looking for?
You are an energetic, self-motivated individual who takes ownership, can work independently and think outside of the box. In addition:
- You have at least 1-2 years of experience in recruitment and HR/people operations
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar background.
- Extremely ideal to have prior experience with Personio, or at least a very similar HRIS tool (HiBob, BambooHR etc)
- You can take initiative and are proactive. You identify opportunities for process improvements, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our HR practices and the overall efficiency of our team
- You have strong organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
- Fluent in English. Another European language is a plus (Dutch is not mandatory to have)
- Based in the Netherlands, with the right to work.
