As a Freight Forwarder Aviation you coördinate AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments. These are urgent shipment of aircraft parts and materials to minimise downtime and get grounded aircraft back into operation as quickly as possible.

Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company specialising in delivering integrated freight forwarding, logistics, and technology solutions. The location in Hoofddorp has over 200 employees with 50 different nationalities. They have a flat company structure with a “no nonsense” culture.
Description
- Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from start to finish.
- Gather and prepare all required shipment and export documentation.
- Maintain accurate shipment status updates and detailed administrative records.
- Book shipments with airlines and negotiate carrier rates to optimize costs.
- Communicate clearly with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Provide proactive customer updates and report issues immediately.
- Identify and resolve problems with strong attention to detail.
- Take initiative to improve processes and develop new working methods.
- Work in a customer- and service-oriented manner at all times.
- Collaborate effectively within the team, considering different interests and impacts of decisions.
Profile
- The ability to obtain a VGB-document (8+ years in the EU).
- Proven experience with airfreight.
- Proficient in English, Dutch is a bonus.
- Careful and accurate.
- Able to handle stress.
- Willingness 40 hours within the two shift schedule: 6:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
Job Offer
- Direct company contract
- Salary based on experience €3.500+ per month
- €450 gross per month bonus for the shifts
- 26 holidays
- 0,23 cents per km travel allowance / public transport fully reimbursed
