Then apply now and join us as our new FP&A & Contract Governance Intern in our Hoofddorp office starting April!In this internship, you will be part of the FP&A & Governance DanTrade team , within our Global Procurement (DanTrade) business. Our purpose is to strengthen financial visibility, governance, and performance insights that support global buying operations. During this internship, you will collaborate with Buyers, Legal, Finance, and cross‑country stakeholders, and coordinate/support FP&A cycles, contract reviews, and governance initiatives.Your main responsibilities include:FP&A Responsibilities

Support month-end closing : P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow variance analysis.

Assist in Rolling Forecast cycles and data consolidation across multiple countries.

Help build dashboards and KPIs to track performance and drive insights.

Contract Review & Analysis

Review commercial and financial clauses in supplier contracts (payment terms, spend, rebates, IFRS‑16 elements, off‑balance commitments).

Map contract structures and extract key data for governance and financial visibility.

Analyze contract deviations, risks and financial impact for decision‑making.

Collaborate with Buyers and Legal to validate contract inputs.

Ad‑hoc Analysis & Projects

Be part of Dantrade and non-Dantrade projects.

Support process simplification, governance improvement, and data-quality initiatives.

About You

As a FP&A & Governance Intern, analytical thinking will be second nature to you. You can understand complex financial structures, translate data into insights, and have the ability to work accurately with detailed information. As a student in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data or a related field, you bring the academic foundation needed to thrive in this role. On top of that? You’re a curious, proactive, and structured person who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.Key requirements:

Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.

Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non‑EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.

For non‑EU citizens, your university must sign a three‑party agreement with Danone.

Available to start in April for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas, and macros) and foundational understanding of Power BI.

Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2 days per week.
