The O pportunity
The “Business Development” team is looking for a New Business Developer capable of identifying new opportunities among our Merchant Services (MS) clients, actively contributing to the implementation of its international strategy, and acquiring new accounts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In close collaboration with other departments of the organization:
Identify new growth opportunities to increase direct or indirect revenue.
Understand clients’ business and technical challenges, analyze issues, and propose solutions that create long-term value both functionally and technically.
Acquire new clients by mastering complex sales cycles.
Digital transformation, omnichannel strategies, and new innovative customer journey challenges are the current focus areas for our clients. Worldline has earned the trust of major players in retail, catering, hospitality, industry, and public services by supporting them in developing new customer journeys. We provide comprehensive omnichannel payment services, optimizing data for enhanced customer engagement. We help our clients achieve their digital transition with innovative solutions based on our extensive experience in various sectors.
Conceive new concepts combining digital and payment solutions with high added value for our clients and end users.
Propose product and solution adaptations to major clients in response to market developments.
Bring fresh ideas and actively contribute to their implementation.
Support operational and commercial departments during the prospecting and pre-sales phases of strategic or innovative deals for DSP.
Promote our DSP digital expertise to targeted markets, influencers, partners, and enhance DSP’s internal reputation.
Meet high-level decision-makers and convincingly present our solutions.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
Minimum Bachelor’s education, from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent university degree.
At least 5 years of experience as a sales professional in the digital and/or payment sectors at a PSP or Acquirer.
Knowledge of the retail, catering, industry, or payment markets is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English, French is a plus).
Curious about the latest innovations and trends.
Creative, intellectually curious, with good listening skills, empathy, and versatility.
Strategic vision and strong analytical and anticipatory skills.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with high-level stakeholders.
Convincing, with leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit.
