Currently, they are looking for a Assistant Finance Manager to join their expanding team in Nieuw-Vennep.
Job Profile for Assistant Finance Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and operational support
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and job accounting functions
- Analyse billing and margins, ensuring profitability and cost control with the Operations team
- Monitor and follow up on customer payments, supplier transactions, and credit notes to ensure timely processing
- Prepare cash forecasts and manage liquidity to anticipate cash flow needs
- Work closely with the external consultant on financial matters and operational improvements
- Initiate payments in the bank portal, ensuring compliance with financial controls
Candidate Profile for Assistant Finance Manager
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields
- Proven experience with financial reporting, analysis, and understanding of IFRS and Dutch GAAP
- Fluency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency in Exact software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within the Operations and Finance teams
